22 Month Toddler and Saturday morning in spring poem

Today our son is 22 months old and this work by Leonard maybe says it the best of our appreciation of being parents after being married for 17 years at the time. We wondered too. Today we cannot think of a life without our precious little son.

two women
holding babies
the laughter
of children
at play
and wonder
of the price
one pays
to miss
participation
